Zbierka Repetění

(2014/2015)

Collection of poems contains stories of one family, in which the author – mother just escaped from reality – or on the contrary – drawn from it. Each member of family, or another realative illustrated them. My intention was to find solution, that will combine all elements, types of drawings, and will affect fresh and surprisingly overleaf will not drawn too much attention. 

Based on old-fashioned school boards, so well-known, along with cream paper  I am trying to reach my intentions in combination with non-traditional inserts and open french binding. Overall impression underline way of working with type. Serif and sans serif fonts, vertical and horizontal alignment, noticeable contrast in size...in the result feels playfully. The visual solution of this book allows the author to signature each piece, which gives it more original and intimate character.
